Anshu Grover is the Founder and CEO of Wineitupanotch Lifestyles, a Toronto-based social enterprise that is dedicated to bringing wine to life for consumers while also giving back to the community.
Before entering the world of wine, Anshu held many senior level leaderships positions in large multinational and Canadian organizations spanning a multitude of industries.
A trained CPA, Anshu is skilled at matters of governance, strategy, transformation, innovation and finance and spent 20+ years working in these areas. But no matter how high she climbed the corporate ladder, something was always missing for her.
So in 2021, Anshu decided to take a risk, strike out on her own and pursue her passion for wine as more than just a very dedicated hobbyist.
Today, Anshu is a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW), holding the coveted CSW designation through the Society of Wine Educators. She is also WSET Certified, having passed the Level 3 certification from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) in 2022 with distinction. Presently, Anshu is pursuing her Level 4 Diploma in Wines through the WSET and is halfway to the finish line!
Anshu loves to research, write and speak about wine. She works with clients large and small, near and far, to provide exceptional wine and lifestyle centric experiences including bespoke personal and corporate wine tasting events, curated wine gift boxes, wine acquisition and cellar building services. She also provides free and pay-for-use wine education to wine lovers and wine students.
When Anshu is not busy with Wineitupanotch Lifestyles, she loves to write poetry and children’s books (she has two published books in this genre!), travel, eat good food, go for a long run and spend time with her beautiful husband, son, daughter and Australian labradoodle!
Says Anshu - “wine has a special place in my life because of its connection to most of the things I am keenly interested in, such as food, culture, travel, art and history and lifelong memories of special times with special people. I’m always down for a new wine experience, in whatever shape or form it may come….
Above all, I believe wine should be approachable, accessible and easy to enjoy by all. In my mind, anyone and everyone should be able to experience the joy of wine, learn more about wine and deem themselves to be an “expert” if they want to!”
