WHY I CHOSE IT - Gavi is a really lovely white wine from Italy that a lot of people are not familiar with. This, combined with its affordable price point, makes this a great wine for holiday gifting!

DAY 3 - 2017 Niro di Citra Montepulciano d’Abruzzo
WHY I CHOSE IT - Montepulciano d’Abruzzo is an interesting, lesser known red wine from Italy that is dense and rich, and pairs well with most Italian food. It’s usually a great pizza and pasta wine, and it is rarely very expensive.

DAYS 4, 5 & 6 - IT’S ALL ABOUT RIOJA, BABY!
WHY I CHOSE THESE WINES - Wines from Spain represent great value for money, and frankly, wines from the Rioja region are literally the most well-known wines from Spain. They can often also represent tremendous value, which makes them great gifts!

WHY I CHOSE THESE WINES - French wines are always received well as gifts. They seem to be seen as luxurious and sophisticated, perhaps because French wines can be quite confusing and hard to decipher. I’ve picked out three good ones for you below that will be sure to please!
